The cooking series has given me confidence to shop in the markets and inspired me to be creative in the kitchen. —Karen

After taking the Kitchen Jump-Start class, I am now able to see ingredients when I go to the supermarket, whereas before all I saw were boxes of cereal and cans of tuna. —Amy

Prior to taking Chris’ cooking class, I was totally intimidated by the idea of cooking. After the class, I realize that I actually am capable of creating a tasty meal. Chris helped me understand that experimentation and improvisation are OK. I learned to work with easy recipes that are not terribly time consuming.  If it weren’t for Chris, I’d still be eating expensive take out food and/or making unhealthy food choices. —Joanne
